Ramon Magasaysay Award is awarded to Asian individuals and organizations for outstanding excellence in “Government Service”, “Literature and Creative Communication Arts”, “Peace & International Understanding” and “Emergent leadership”. The award is considered Asia’s Nobel Prize. NILEMMA MISHRA and HARRISH HANDE are the two Indians are awarded Magasaysay Award in 2011.
